Program Description
The Annual Asphalt Conference provides industry, agency, and research representatives with current information on topics related to the asphalt industry. The Federal Highway Administration (FHWA), Minnesota Department of Transportation (MnDOT), and MnDOT State Aid Office will each give an overview of the previous year and coming year. Low Temp (Thermal Cracking) Study and Life Cycle Assessment presentations will make up the second half of the General Session.
The four afternoon breakout sessions will include informative presentations by Mn/DOT personnel, equipment and material suppliers, as well as consultant and contractor representatives. The topics covered will include the following: Construction Technology, Modern Equipment Operations, a Warm Mix Asphalt Update, and Surface Treatments and Binder Performance.
